Valerie Preston became a Branch Manager in a Savings & Loan in 1990. During that time, it was required that she become a Notary Public to be able to serve its customers. Valerie left banking in 2000 but she chose to continue being a Notary Public. Valerie decided that it was time for her to be her own boss. After years of working in corporate, Valerie Preston launched VP Notary Services June 2006. This was one of the best decisions she has ever made. Valerie has met so many wonderful people and established so many relationships through serving as a Mobile Notary Public.

Valerie Preston has been married over three decades.
Valerie graduated from Hampton University in 1986 with a degree in Human Ecology specializing in the area of Marriage & Family. Valerie knew that she had a purpose in this area. When she started doing Pre-Marital Counseling sessions at her church, Valerie felt like her love of the institution of marriage was being realized. Marriage is WORK! Then a door was opened for her to become a Wedding Officiant in 2018. What A JOY!!!
